Karl and Romina Bonaci are the owners and directors of Bonaci Media Entertainment. This company was set up way back in 1988 with the aim of providing extensive media and entertainment products and services to the local public.

It was through their dedication and hard work that in 2006 they have established the first local TV shopping channel iTV shopping. Within a short span this TV station has gained remarkable popularity and has become the leader in local teleshopping. Its mission was certainly accomplished in providing the Maltese and Gozitan televiewers with an entertaining and informative 24-hour shopping experience to all those who opt for bargain hunting or to keep themselves updated with the latest best buys on the market.

Prior to this ambitious project, Karl and Romina were heavily involved in the media both as producers of major television productions and also as host presenters of various television entertainment shows. They made a name as leading television personalities and are still very popular to this day. In 1996 they produced their first programme for television and soon after they gave birth to the first ever local soap opera IPOKRITI. Since then they have produced numerous programmes on most of the local tv stations.

But Karl and Romina’s distinguished reputation within the media circles knows its roots through their early involvement in the theatre. Both of them have played leading roles in theatrical representations and have also formed their own Drama Company.

Backed by their professional experience in the world of media and entertainment it was a natural progression in their expansion plans to set up another TV station – Favourite Channel.

Favourite Channel is the local private television station that meets the televiewers’ demands while striving to excel in its mission of being a source of information, education and entertainment. It’s the channel that promotes creativity, innovation and top quality standards. It’s the TV station with a fresh outlook and ultra modern style in its presentation and programme content.

Our pride lies in our commitment towards our televiewers. We have invested heavily in the latest technology; we have engaged a team of energetic, young broadcasters and technical personnel; and we have set up an efficient organizational structure to guarantee high class television productions. News-Updates, current affairs programmes, documentaries, drama, talk shows, entertainment programmes, magazine shows, lifestyle programmes, sports, quiz shows, and children’s programmes are all featured on our schedule. However, it’s the presentation style, the quality of transmission, the programme content and the production set up which will make the difference.
